Helika Dining
The relationship between wood and cast or metal detailing gives the piece much of its visual character.

DetailsThe interest in Helika Dining comes from how the main volumes are resolved rather than from added decoration. Helika dining table draws its name from the propeller shape of its base which is softened by the sculptural honeycomb texture of its cast aluminium base. This variant of Helika Dining has two bases in cast aluminium and an oak veneered top that can be customised in size or colour to create the perfect ambiance. Be it for a mountain vibe or an urban loft, it is a versatile piece that will not go unnoticed. Handcrafted in Portugal, this dining table features two burnt cast aluminium bases and the surface is available in oak veneer with standard finishes.
Helika Dining should have enough clear space around it for the base and top to be read as a complete object. In an open-plan dining area, keep nearby storage and seating visually quieter so the table can organise the room without competing with several other focal points.
“In everyday use, leaving some of the top visible will help the material and base relationship continue to read clearly.”
The piece is designed to remain visually relevant even when the surface is not styled.
Pair the wood with a material that changes the texture rather than matching it exactly—stone, soft upholstery or a quieter metal detail will give the room more depth.
