Helika Cocktail
The relationship between cast or metal detailing and glass gives the piece much of its visual character.

DetailsThe design idea is easy to read because the silhouette does most of the work. Available in coffee, side, and dining table versions, Helika draws its name from the propeller shape of its base which is softened by the sculptural honeycomb texture of its cast aluminium base. This coffee table features a burnt cast aluminium base with a glass surface.
Place Helika Cocktail where it can be seen from several directions, ideally within a seating group that leaves some floor around the base. The table has enough design presence to sit at the centre without needing several smaller objects around it.
“In everyday use, leaving some of the top visible will help the material and base relationship continue to read clearly.”
The piece is designed to remain visually relevant even when the surface is not styled.
Use softer surrounding materials to balance the metal: upholstery, wool, linen or a warmer wood tone will stop the scheme from becoming too hard.
