Taxco I Desk
The defining features of Taxco I Desk are its sculptural bases.

DetailsTaxco I Desk is most convincing when you look at the relationship between its outline, support and main surface. The legs, consisting of a vertical monolithic form with a wide oval opening at its centre, supports a top with rounded corners. One of the top’s long sides is characterised by a continuous curve, whilst the other sides retain straighter, cleaner lines.
Taxco I Desk suits a study, bedroom or quieter living area where the desk can remain visually composed when not in use. Keep nearby storage simple so the desk itself carries the design interest.
“In everyday use, leaving some of the top visible will help the material and base relationship continue to read clearly.”
The piece is designed to remain visually relevant even when the surface is not styled.
Keep the surrounding palette restrained and introduce one contrasting material or shape. The piece will read more clearly when the room does not repeat every one of its details.
