DetailsThe design idea is easy to read because the silhouette does most of the work. Two organic, robust, asymmetrical legs support a slender, delicate surface in perfect balance. Mogambo is a console inspired by the African wilderness.
Mogambo Console is strongest against a wall where there is enough negative space around it to read the base and top clearly. Use it in an entrance, living room or dining area with one artwork or mirror above rather than filling the wall with competing pieces.
“In everyday use, leaving some of the top visible will help the material and base relationship continue to read clearly.”
The piece is designed to remain visually relevant even when the surface is not styled.
Pair the wood with a material that changes the texture rather than matching it exactly—stone, soft upholstery or a quieter metal detail will give the room more depth.
