Hoffman Round Cocktail
The relationship between natural stone and cast or metal detailing gives the piece much of its visual character.

DetailsHoffman Round Cocktail is most convincing when you look at the relationship between its outline, support and main surface. A sleek surface is supported by a “transparent” column comprised of elements that seem solid in texture while presenting relative transparency. This organic textured table frees up visual space, allowing air and light to circulate.
Place Hoffman Round Cocktail where it can be seen from several directions, ideally within a seating group that leaves some floor around the base. The table has enough design presence to sit at the centre without needing several smaller objects around it.
“In everyday use, leaving some of the top visible will help the material and base relationship continue to read clearly.”
The piece is designed to remain visually relevant even when the surface is not styled.
Balance the harder stone and metal surfaces with softer upholstery, a textured rug and restrained timber accents. Avoid repeating several equally sculptural metal pieces nearby.
