Don Didrik Armchair
The relationship between wood, cast or metal detailing and upholstery gives the piece much of its visual character.

DetailsThe design idea is easy to read because the silhouette does most of the work. An extension of Hamilton Conte's family of contemporary armchairs that include Didrik, Fede and Olaf, Don Didrik brings a new and exceptional level of comfort with its plush seat and backrest. This lounge chair with solid wood structure has a rotating metal base in either brushed stainless steel or brass effect.
Don Didrik Armchair can work as a single accent beside a sofa, as a pair across a coffee table, or in a quieter reading corner. Leave enough space around the silhouette so the chair feels deliberately placed rather than tucked into leftover space.
“Choose the fabric or leather with the surrounding materials in mind, and avoid treating the seat as a standalone colour decision.”
The upholstery is a large part of how Don Didrik Armchair will read in a finished room.
Let the wood and upholstery create the main contrast. Natural textiles, a quieter rug and one simple table surface will keep the room warm without making it feel overly coordinated.
