DetailsIts distinctive character lies in its sculptural base, inspired by the solidity and plasticity of contemporary works of art. Shell is the dining table that interprets design as an expression of strength, balance and elegance.
Shell works best where the table can be read as furniture, not only as a surface. Give the base some breathing room and keep the dining chairs visually lighter so the table remains the centre of the setting.
“The design is intended for everyday use, but it has enough presence to remain important even when the table is not set.”
Pair it with chairs that are visually lighter than the base, and use one restrained sideboard nearby rather than adding several equally strong pieces.
