Lara Armchair
Lara combines a visible oak structure with generous upholstery, so the frame becomes part of the chair rather than disappearing inside it.

DetailsThe visible solid-oak structure is the defining detail. Instead of hiding the support beneath upholstery, Lara lets the frame draw the outline of the chair, giving the piece a crafted, almost furniture-within-furniture quality.
Lara is a good standalone chair for a living room, hotel lounge or reading corner where the side and back remain visible. The timber gives it enough architectural presence to work away from the wall, and as a pair it can make a conversation area feel intentional without becoming formal.
“That balance makes it comfortable visually in both warm residential rooms and more polished hospitality settings.”
The upholstered volumes soften what could otherwise be a very structural chair.
Pair Lara with a low table in stone or metal and let the timber remain the main warm material nearby. Too much additional wood in the same sightline can make the composition feel heavy.
