Amedeo Sideboard
The relationship between wood and cast or metal detailing gives the piece much of its visual character.

DetailsAmedeo Sideboard is most convincing when you look at the relationship between its outline, support and main surface. A base halfway between a cube and a square supports a sturdy top on which a sideboard rest. The faces of the half-cube legs have a square in the centre, and the same square is found as door handles for the piece. Pure lines and bold volumes give Amedeo Sideboard a unique look.
Amedeo Sideboard works best on a wall where the front and material detail can be seen head-on, with enough clearance for it to feel intentional rather than fitted in. In a dining or living space, let it be the main storage statement instead of lining the room with several competing cabinets.
“Keep the top surface relatively uncluttered so everyday use does not hide the front and material detail.”
The design has a clear functional role, but the storage is integrated into a piece intended to remain visible.
Pair the wood with a material that changes the texture rather than matching it exactly—stone, soft upholstery or a quieter metal detail will give the room more depth.
