Sol Bedside
The relationship between wood and cast or metal detailing gives the piece much of its visual character.

DetailsWhat gives Sol Bedside its identity is the way proportion and structure remain visible. A solid, recessed rectangular base supports a cabinet, its main drawer concealing a second hidden drawer. Sol Bedside stands out for its strong sculptural presence and decidedly contemporary design.
Sol Bedside is compact enough to sit beside the bed while still carrying a clear design identity. If used as a pair, let the bed remain the dominant volume and keep the accessories on top restrained.
“Keep the top surface relatively uncluttered so everyday use does not hide the front and material detail.”
The design has a clear functional role, but the storage is integrated into a piece intended to remain visible.
Pair the wood with a material that changes the texture rather than matching it exactly—stone, soft upholstery or a quieter metal detail will give the room more depth.
